Two nights ago there was a whole mob of police up here, armed with rifles and tear gas because there was some guy they wanted bunkered down in the apartment adjeacent to my bed room. Our neighbor asked if we wanted to go down to his place b/c it was farther from the whole thing so we went for a bit and while we were down there there was this big muffled boom and the floor shook. our neighbor said the police probably blew out a window with a tear gas grinade thing.
ok, so it was a bit on the dangerous side, but it was really cool! nothing ever happens here in Crapsville, so it was pretty nifty. and my teacher let me finish my book over the weekend b/c he seems to think i'm a panicy person (thought i had a freak out over a test and all i said was 'crap') so i suppose he thought i was having a spazz while i was quarantined in our neighbors place. just happy i didn't have to turn my book in.
